Well, its been awhile but im back at it.
I was looking for something new to post and of course, with out a doubt, a new Soulection show appeared in my scroll but as I listened, I wasn’t thrilled until the end.
Is Soulection dying?
As I listened I felt this expression of disappointment on my face. I felt like I went in the fridge looking for something to quench my thirst and ended up with a glass of flat pop. (& I don’t even drink soda)
Being an early supporter I just don’t get the same feeling of excitement or intrigue when I play the newer shows. So much has changed with the roster and labeling I no longer connect to the show like I used to. Its really been a hit or miss as of lately…
BUT I did enjoy the interview with Saba, and I still have to give credit to Soulection for supporting the new artists along with continuing to strive for innovation and positive vibes.
I guess only time will tell what will be next for Soulection, or maybe another great radio show is upon us.
If it is…I called it first.
